Installation without junction boxes
Simple connections
POWERCELL PDX load cells are combined into a simple network. The system eliminates faulty junction boxes which are exposed to frequent failures and damage.
Cables
Cables of sensors are often the weakest link of the system. POWERCELL PDX cells have double-screened cables with a cover from stainless steel. The cables’ design is supposed to guarantee protection of the scales’ signal against radio interference as well as damage caused by moisture, rodents and mechanical defects.
Cables of POWERCELL PDX cells with connectors are waterproof and ensure tight protection of the whole system against moisture, in accordance with IP68 protection rating.
Quick-fit connectors enable easy replacement of sensors and cables without the need to recalibrate the measuring system.
